Might be three-day old news but a well-deserved break from writing about SEMA previews and features. As you may have gotten from previous posts, I hate hulking machines. So now, I’m writing about a really mean machine - the Ferrari FXX Evoluzione.

Designed to be the heir to Ferrari’s grand supercar, the Enzo, the FXX Evoluzione was unveiled the past weekend. The FXX Evoluzione is the development of the FXX program which involves “client test drivers” (ergo rich people who belong to Ferrari’s elite clientele who have dreams of being F1 racers).

The car is a real piece of engineering. Stats would show that the output is a tremendous 860 hp with a redline of 9,500 revs. The traction control of the car can be tweaked on the fly with nine different settings. And there’s the expected suspension and aerodynamic tweaks to give the car the right balance of speed and handling.
