Yeeeeessss… After months of waiting, Top Gear is back on air and boy did they open the season with more typical Top Gear flamboyance. Jeremy, Hamster, Captain Slow and Stiggy are back!

In this episode is a few takes on fuel economy, kicking off the episode with a race around the lap with 5 supercars - a Lambo Murcielago, a Ferrari 599, Mercedes-MacLaren SLR, an Aston Martin DBS, and an Audi R8 . We also see Jeremy’s take on the new Ferrari 430 Scuderia which does a pretty amazing time around the track in The Stig’s hands. For the week’s challenge is how to make a proper police car for just 1000 quid.

But hey, it might not have one of their epic races but I’ll take whatever they dish out and it was, as always, ambitious but rubbish. Meaning, enjoyable for any gearhead. Oh, if you want to see the show, then you know how the Internet works.
