A few months ago, word went around that the Nissan 350Z will be rebadged as the 370Z marked with the transition from a 3.5L of the 350Z engine to a 3.7L engine coming from the Infiniti G37. The increase in displacement would boost the number of horses to 330, 30 hp more than the 350Z.
Now, reports indicate that the 370Z will indeed push through and will most likely be featured in the Paris Motor Show later this year. Not much has been said about the styling but from what we see from sketches, it looks just a bit more sleek than the current 350Z. The car might be entering the market next year and will be sold as a 2010 model.
It really boggles the mind on why Nissan is making performance car after performance car. The new GTR is selling like meth in a junkie town and as far as performance goes, that car is quite hard to beat. I wonder what good will this upgrade on the 350Z line would do.
