Crushed Luxury Vehicles in the PhilippinesA couple of days ago, Philippine President Gloria Arroyo ordered the crushing of nabbed smuggled exotics. The list of cars included a Porsche, a Ferrari, and a Lambo, and other exotics and luxuries from different automaker, total of 18. All in the aims of driving the point that the smuggling will not be tolerated. But she missed witnessing the Clarkson-like deed. The reason - her backup helicopter suffered mechanical trouble.

While other local groups shared my opinion of auctioning off these babies and use the would-be proceeds (an estimated $2.2M US) to help her poor countrymen.
