Everyone gets a brilliant idea once in a while. But only a few people could render their ideas to something more real and even fewer get to have their ideas realized. I’ve got a brilliant idea about an electric car that can do 1,000 miles in a set of rechargeable AA batteries. That’s a good one, but practically impossible. I’m no designer as well so all I could do is describe it as sleek and sexy.
Probably why I get to tip my hat off to designers like Dmitry Gontarev who designed a small electric concept - the ‘Diamond.’ This might rival the Toyota iQ, with the Diamond being a four-seater but measures only 2.6m. Being an electric car, that means that this thing is completely green and wouldn’t drive you nuts every time the prices of gas goes up.
But then again, it’s a matter of taking this design to the next level.
