Mercedes-Benz E-Class AMGThere’s a new optional package available for the 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The AMG Sports Package features a bevy of dynamic additions that can be applied for the whole line of E-Class vehicles.

The first thing to see with the AMG Sports Package is the restyled exterior, which offers a sleeker and sportier look. The cooling air intakes are larger and the tailpipes have been redesigned. Four-cylinder variants have an oval polished stainless steel pipe, while the six- and eight-cylinder versions have rectangular pipes of the same material. The new 18-inch light-allow wheels also provide a nice touch, along with perforated brake discs and silver calipers emblazoned with the Mercedes-Benz logo.

The interior features front seats optimized for cornering comfort and lateral support, microfiber/ARTICO leather trimming, decorative upholstery, and a new central console. There’re also AMG-lettered floor mats, brushed stainless steel sports pedals, and black roof lining with chrome highlights and nappa leather. A three-spoke AMG sports steering wheel rounds out interior furnishings.

The AMG Sports Package doesn’t come cheap, but it has quite a good combination of exterior and interior additions that give it an excellent value for money.
