Once upon a time, Ferrari made an “entry-level” line called the Dino. While it’s named after Enzo’s late son Alfredo, it wasn’t a line that Ferrari can be really proud of compared to their other engineering marvels. Some even say that it’s not a “proper” Ferrari and the company even relegated it to a status where it doesn’t deserve the “Ferrari” tag.
So how about this Ferrari F250? Does it deserve the prancing horse slapped on the bonnet? This concept design is made by Idries Omar which takes the Dino’s low-slung mid-engined supercar design to the 21st century.
This car is rumored to be packing a 2.5L V6 that runs on biofuel. Detroit saw the F430 Spider running on E85 Ethanol so I guess Ferrari has the ready technology for this car.
