Ford FiestaIn Sunday’s edition of Top Gear, the three lauded the looks of cars targeting mass consumers citing the great looks that these cars are having recently. One of them was the Ford Fiesta. And with this latest bit from Ford, it seems like the Fiesta will become a good choice for people who would want a cheap and economical but great looking car. Enter Ford’s ECOnetic technology.

While other automakers are doing their mad scramble for alternative fuel cars, some are also trying their best to find a good solution with what is currently in use. Mercedes-Benz has their DiesOtto, VW has their BlueMotion technology and Ford has their ECOnetic technology all of which make do with diesel technology.

Power for this Fiesta comes from a 1.6 TDCi turbodiesel that pumps out 89 bhp. Not really an amazingly fast car but will be more than enough to get from point A to point B. What would really make this car stand out is the 98 g/Km CO2 emission and the fuel economy of 75 mpg at a combined cycle.
